A cab driver allegedly attempted rape on a woman passenger in Rajendra Nagar in Hyederabad, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place late last night after which the victim, an air-hostess lodged a complaint.
“The woman has lodged a complaint saying the driver of the cab allegedly attempted to rape her while she was travelling in the vehicle,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shamshabad Zone) Sunpreet Singh said.
The driver has been booked under relevant sections of IPC and further investigations are on, the DCP said.
