National Lok Adalat is set to settle record number of cases in Mathura in its upcoming session on November 12.

“We are working on comprehensive planning that we had chalked out earlier to make the forthcoming National Lok Adalat a grand success by settling record number of cases on a single day,” Ramesh Tewari, the district Judge of Mathura and President of District Legal Service Authority said.

The work has been allotted to Nodal officers, appointed by different departments.

“Not only Nodal officers have been appointed in every department for speedy scrutiny and selection of the cases for National Lok Adalat, but they have been asked to submit the list of the cases to Zila Vidhik Seva Pradhikaran (District Legal Service Authority) and ensure the reach of information to concerning parties,” he said.

The nodal officers would motivate and brief the advantage of the participation in National Lok Adalat, as it would provide them immediate justice, without spending extra amount, he added.
