Two soldiers have been reportedly killed and two others injured in a terror attack on an army artillery unit in Nagrota in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning. Firing is still on between the army and the terrorists.

The terrorists threw grenades at the camp in Nagrota, around 20 km from Jammu and on the highway, at 5.30 am and opened fire. A major and a jawan were killed. Around two-three terrorists are believed to be hiding in the officers’ mess.

Nagrota is the headquarters of the army’s 16 Corps, a massive military formation that defends the borders and fights terrorists in the greater Jammu region.
