New Delhi: The Supreme Court asked the Centre on Tuesday to take decision in connection with making yoga compulsory in schools from students between 6 years to 14 years across the country.

Earlier, on November 7, a bench comprising Chief Justice T S Thakur and Justices D Y Chandrachud and L Nageswara Rao had agreed to hear on December 2 the PIL that seeks inclusion of Yoga as a compulsory subject in the curriculum on grounds including that its “secular” and right to health was an integral part of right to life.
