Anupam Kher’s ‘The Headhunter’s Calling’ to premiere at TIFF

Mumbai: Veteran actor Anupam Kher’s Hollywood film “The Headhunter’s Calling”, also starring Gerard Butler and Willem Dafoe, will have its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), which begins on September 8.

Kher, 61, shared the news with his fans on Twitter writing, “Happy to share, my film The Headhunter’s Calling with Gerard Butler is premiering at Toronto Int. Film Festival.”

“The Headhunter’s Calling” is about a headhunter whose life revolves around closing deals in a survival-of-the- fittest boiler room. The movie has been directed by Mark Williams.

Actors Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt-starrer “The Magnificent Seven” is the opening film at TIFF this year.

Actress Konkana Sensharma’s directorial debut “A Death in the Gunj” will be screened in the special presentation section of the festival.
