Los Angeles, Jul 7 Actor Rob Lowe is joining the cast of second season of “Code Black” as a series regular. The former “The Grinder” star will make his debut in the upcoming season 2 premiere on September 28 as Col. Ethan Willis, reported Aceshowbiz Lowe, 52, is playing a doctor in the US military Combat Casualty Care research program who has been pulled out of a combat hospital in Afghanistan and embedded at Angels Memorial to teach what the military has learned about combat medicine. The series previously added Nafessa Williams, Noah Gray-Cabey and Emily Tyra in recurring roles following the departure of Bonnie Somerville and Raza Jaffrey. They will join original cast Luis Guzman, Melanie Chandra, Harry Ford, Ben Hollingsworth, Jillian Murray, Boris Kodjoe and William Allen Young.
