This incident happened in the third over of the Indian innings. Cheteshwar Pujara was new to the crease and Taskin Ahmed sent a delivery down the leg to which the batsman shouldered arms. Rahim dived to his left and caught the ball before it could hit the ground. The fielders looked certain that that was ‘out’ and vehemently appealed.

Umpire disagreed as in naked eye also it was clear that there was daylight between the ball and bat when it went past Pujara. Surprisingly Rahim was thinking about reviewing it but sense prevailed and he decided to carry on with the game.
