In the wake of increasing instances of police officials suffering severe mental strain, a unsealing therapy centre will be set up to help members of the force deal with the challenges being faced by them.
Many police officers suffer intense mental stress and strain and have no outlet to vent out their frustrations and it was felt that there was a requirement to start a counselling centre within the department to help the members of the force to face their challenges and solve their personal problems, get themselves de-addicted from bad habits, DGP Loknath Behara said.
