The biopic, directed by debutante Aazaad, has been produced in five languages in English, Tamil, Telugu and Panjabi, besides Hindi and is slated to release countrywide in March, Dubey said.
The film has been shot in locations like Allahabad, Jhansi, Delhi where Chandrashekhar Azad carried out the freedom struggle.
Aazaad, who has also written the film and plays the lead of the freedom fighter, said, “This is the most well-researched story based on the true life events of Chandrashekhar Azad.”
“The promo launch tomorrow would mark the revival of the studio and with this, rumours related to Bombay Talkies will end…we would see beginning of a new era in the Hindi film industry,” he said.
He said the post-production work of the film is underway and the promo launch tomorrow coincides with the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, and leader late Bal Thackeray, on January 23.
