Praising his film’s protagonist, Sippy says, “Vidyut has got a phenomenal talent. He hasn’t done too many movies so far but he’s extremely dedicated and he has got a genuine talent.
So, I hope we can use that and make him really connect emotionally and also from the physicality side to the character he’s playing.”
When asked about not choosing a big star, Sippy says, “It’s decided from the script that who you cast and which actor you want. Force fit a big actor into a certain script is also not the right way to go.”
The director likes giving opportunities to young talent as he feels they are sometimes much more curious and enthusiastic than A-listers.
“Last time I worked with young actors like Kunal Roy Kapoor and Ayushmann (Khurrana). It is so much fun to work with them. You don’t get that while working with senior or busier stars.
