Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora have decided to part ways after 17 years of marriage. The couple was spotted arriving at the Bandra Family Court on Tuesday, November 29. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the two have filed for divorce and were present at the court for their first and mandatory counselling session.
Malaika and Arbaaz, who announced their separation early this year, have mutually decided for the dissolution of their marriage. The two were reportedly allotted Court No. 1 for the case proceedings. Going by the book, after a divorce petition is filed, both parties must attend counselling sessions for a period of six months to consider reconciliation. If the court finds that there are no signs of the two ever getting back together, the marriage is then dissolved.
