Rapper Pitbull has been sued for $1 million by his former manager, Charles Chavez.
Chavez, who worked with the 35-year-old “Messin’ Around” hitmaker for nine years, following their business split in 2015, filed a lawsuit against him in Los Angeles Superior Court for his due amount, reported Billboard.
The suit alleged that when they began working together in March 2007, they entered into an oral agreement, according to which Chavez would receive 10 per cent of Pitbull’s revenues from all business derived activities on which the ex manager worked, regardless of when those revenues were received.
The activities included recordings, publishing and performances of the artist.
Chavez received the profits till 2015 as per the clause, but still has his payment due with the “Rain Over Me” singer.
