Mumbai: Bollywood actor Omkar Kapoor says his film with actor-director Sohail Khan is on hold and will not go on floors this year.
Soon after his hit “Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2”, there were reports that the actor had bagged his second film tentatively titled “My Punjabi Nikaah”, to be produced by Sohail.
When asked about the project, Omkar told PTI, “Well that is as of now on hold. That will probably happen sometime later.
As of now, that is not happening this year.
“I would like not to discuss any of the details, it is too early,” he added.
According to reports, the film is about a young Mumbai boy who falls in love with a Muslim girl from London. It is apparently inspired by “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.”
The actor is currently excited for his foray in web series with Web Talkies’s show “You Me aur Ghar”.
