On the occasion of its 84th anniversary, the Vayu Sena has received tributes from several national leaders, including President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Air Force Chief Arup Raha, who awarded the Vayu Sena Medals, the Vayu Sena Gallantry Medals and the Vishist Seva Medals at the Ghaziabad event, said the acquisition of 36 Rafale aircraft in the years to come could greatly enhance the Air Force’s operational capability.
