“Today I have not come to ask for votes. If I wanted votes I would have gone to Punjab or Goa from where our party is contesting. I have come to beg you to save this country. I will say each word with full responsibility and with full evidence because I know Prime Minister Narendra Modi must be listening to me….If I say anything wrong they will file 10 cases against me. So far there are 24 cases lodged against me. Inke case se nahi darta main,” Kejriwal told a gathering dominantly of party workers and sympathisers from Meerut and neighbouring districts.

He revisited his allegations against Modi favouring liquor baron Vijay Mallya by ‘helping him leave the country’ and ‘waiving off his loans’, of alerting Modi’s ‘friends’ in advance of the demonetisation decision to be able to stash away black money.
