Kolkata: A depression in west central Bay of Bengal may intensify into a deep depression and cause heavy rainfall in the coastal districts of West Bengal till tomorrow, the weatherman said today.

“A depression over west central Bay of Bengal may intensify into a deep depression and is likely to move north-northwestwards initially and then recurve northeastwards towards Bangladesh coast,” Regional MeT Director G K Das said.

“The system is likely to cause heavy rainfall in coastal districts of East and West Midnapore, South and North 24 Parganas and Howrah on November four and five,” Das said.
