Dengue kills national level woman footballer during treatment

Varanasi: National woman footballer Poonam Chauhan has died of dengue during her treatment at a private hospital here.

She was 29.

Poonam, who played for the Indian football team in 2010, passed away here last night. She was admitted in the hospital about a week ago.
