“Hence, those completing 18 years of age as on January 1, 2017 can enrol themselves as voters,” he said.

The existing voters will also have an opportunity to make changes in the list, he added.

“Names of those voters who have changed residence, duplication of names and deceased family members can be deleted,” Saharia said.
