New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a humid morning today with the mercury settling at 26.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average.
According to a MeT department official, relative humidity was recorded at 81 per cent at 8:30 AM.
The Safdarjung, Lodhi Road, Ayanagar, Palam and Ridge observatories reported rainfall of 21 mm, 19.8 mm, 13.4 mm, 8.4 mm and 2.3 mm respectively over the past 24 hours.
“Skies are expected to remain partly cloudy today. There is a possibility of rain/thunderstorm in the evening. Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius,” the official predicted.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 32.9 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
