Two terrorists have been gunned down by the Indian army in Bandipora on Tuesday during a combing operation in the area.
The Army and the police in a joint operation had cordoned off the area to smoke out the two terrorists who were holed up and had opened fire, thus engaging in a heavy gunbattle early in the morning. A combing operation is underway.
According to the Financial Express, the armed forces had received a tip-off about the presence of militants in the Hanjan area.
