Lok Sabha convenes, Arun Jaitley presents the Union Budget 2017-18

Lok Sabha has convened and Arun Jaitley is set to present the Union Budget 2017-18.

Speaker Sumitra Mahajan began the session announcing the passing away of MP E Ahamed. She highlighted his career as a member of Parliament. “We deeply mourn the death of our colleague,” Mahajan said. The House stood in silence as a mark of respect.
