Dhaudai, Chhattisgarh: A village deep in the jungle of Chhattisgarh, where four-wheelers cannot reach and the nearest hospital is miles away, help arrived in the form of ‘motorcycle ambulance’ just in time, which helped a woman deliver a baby.
Though the concept of the motorcycle ambulance is new, it is very effective in saving lives in remote regions, where people die because they could not make it to the hospital on time. NGO Saathi’s motorcycle ambulance initiative is jointly supported by the Chhattisgarh Health Department and UNICEF.
This is indeed a great cooperation where every politicians just sitting pretty and doing nothing, such initiatives are worth a lot. politicians must take a lesson from here.
