Muzaffarnagar jail: Over 30 prisoners booked for violence

The jail authorities have lodged a complaint against more than 20 inmates for violence and threatening the jail staff, the superintendent said.

Meanwhile, the district authorities have ordered to shift the inmates who were found involved in the yesterday’s violence to other jails.

Security has also been tightened in jail after the incident, the officer said.
