New Delhi: Overnight showers in few areas of the national capital contributed to high humidity levels this morning with the mercury settling at a notch above normal.
“The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 AM was 26.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal,” a MeT official said.
The humidity was recorded at 90 per cent while the city received 5.6 mm rainfall overnight.
Weatherman has predicted a cloudy day ahead with possibility of rains in few areas towards the afternoon.
“The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 35 and 26 per cent,” the official added.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 31.8 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
