Protest demonstrations held at toll plazas by RLD activists

The protestors were demanding free toll for farmers of the area, return of 10 per cent of acquired land to farmers, payment of compensation to them and a job for one member of the farmer’s family whose land has been acquired.

Collection of toll at Mant was suspended during the agitation but the movement of the traffic remained unaffected.

They also presented a charter of demands to SDM Sadanand Gupta who will forward it to the Chief Minister.
