New Delhi: The protest in the Lok Sabha by members from Andhra Pradesh demanding special category status for the state seems to be waning.
For the past four days, members of the YSR Congress have been entering the Well with placards and raising slogans demanding special category status for Andhra Pradesh after Telangana was carved out of it.
In the first two days, members of TDP, an ally of the ruling NDA too were participating in the protest by holding placards and raising slogans from the aisles.
While the TDP members have refrained from protesting in the last two days, only three out of five YSR members were present in the Well today.
They continued raising slogans through the Question Hour, despite Speaker Sumitra Mahajan asking them to return to their seats.
