“It is an agreement between AAP and people of Punjab. This manifesto is pious for us. Congress and SAD-BJP have failed to bring any manifesto or commitment document till now which shows they do not have any solutions to problems of Punjab. They only know how to ask for votes in the name of religion and caste,” he said.

Kejriwal said that high power tariffs had emerged as a major problem in Punjab industry and if the AAP came to power, they would not hesitate to provide subsidies on power to industries. “I promise you that goods manufactured in Punjab will reach every corner of the world,” he said.

Promising to revive Ludhiana and Mandi Gobindgarh industries, Kejriwal said, “Ludhiana and Mandi Gobdindgah industries have been devastated. This is a big challenge ahead of us to revive them. We consider farmers, traders, industrialists and youths as our partners in development for Punjab. We have done this in Delhi. All trade associations in Delhi are consulted before making any trade policy.

Sometimes government has to take strong and stern steps. They will protest if decisions are taken without their consent but we never do so. No policy is given a green signal without their consent.”
