The Indian Army has conducted surgical strikes crossing the Line of Control (LoC) into Pakistan Occupied Kashmir inflicting significant damage to the terrorist infrastructure across the border.

“India conducted surgical strikes last night across the LoC to safeguard our nation, the Defence Ministry said on Thursday. Significant casualties have been caused to terrorists and those trying to shield them. We don’t have a plan to further conduct such strikes. India has spoken to Pakistan,” DGMO Lt Gen Ranbir Singh said.

“India cannot allow terrorists to operate across the LoC (Line of Control) and strike with impunity,” Director General Military Operations Lt Gen Ranbir Singh said, after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security.

Indian army went inside as far as 3 km across the LoC and carried out the operations. Eight attacks were carried out successfully by the Indian army in this operation.

CD Sahay, Former Raw Chief said that “It had to happen, there is a long history of trans-border transgression. It must be said of India’s maturity in handling the situations. The level of tolerance has been crossed. I must congratulate the Indian army. It was a necessity, it had to be done”

Air marshal PK BorBora(Rtd) “ We are quite ready, now it is up to them” when asked about if Indian army was ready to wage an all out war against Pakistan.

He also quipped that “Pakistan understands the language of force and today is a red letter day”

Rtd. General G.D Bakshi remarked that “They have carried out precise and focused attack. They have strike at the very heart of mayhem. It is a long pending debt, we were keeping them under surveillance and finally we have retaliated and have managed to come back without a scratch”

“You (Pakistan) are one fifth of our size and if you cross the line, we will retaliate and defeat them at every front and burn them to a crisp”

Things at the Pakistan front where muffled and appeared tad bit tame. Pakistan PM replied on this attack saying “We condemn this attack, our desire for peace should not be interpreted as our weakness”

Pakistan defense ministry replied that “We have kept an eye on the incident and if such an act is repeated this will not bid well for India”

Another defence analyst vocally said that there is no question of anyone questioning these attacks as this were justified and much needed, enough diplomatic insulation was taken to prevent any hiccups.

PM has meanwhile calling in all the ministers to bolster the country for further actions that needs to be taken at 4PM today.

Pavan Veram, a former diplomat said “India is a nation will not take any more of this terror. There has been a meeting and I am sure we will not take any threats of terror lightly”
