First Tribal carnival to be inaugrated by PM Narendra Modi

New Delhi: For establishing a sense of inclusiveness amongst tribals, the government is organising a National Tribal Carnival here, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 25.

The carnival will feature workshops on Panchayats (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act, Forest Rights Act (FRA) and reservation in politics among others, Tribal Affairs Ministers Jual Oram told reporters here.

“The idea of the carnival was conceived by Modiji and we are organising this carnival to promote a sense of inclusiveness amongst tribals,” he said.
