AGRA: A partially decomposed corpse of a woman, in her early 40s, was discovered in a trolley suitcase on the busy Agra-Delhi highway (NH-2), near Raipura Jat area, on Friday morning.
The body was found after the pradhan of Farah, Rajender Singh, informed the control room about an unidentified suitcase lying on the roadside at about 8 am. When the police opened the bag, they discovered the body with multiple stab wounds.
According to police officials, the body just had undergarments on it and the face was bloated. Though the post mortem report is still awaited, police suspect that she was killed at least two day ago and could have been sexually assaulted.
As reported, a senior area inspector said the woman appeared to be from a well to do family, as she wore thumb rings, gold earrings and a silver chain on the neck. He said her features were very sharp.
The inspector said the brown colour trolley suitcase, an imported brand, appeared to be new and had a number combination lock on it. The police have to break open the suitcase.
