France has been once again plunged into the depths of mournful despair following the massacre of 84 people by a suspected ISIS fanatic, Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhel.
The French nation is to observe three days of mourning after the Nice truck attack, their Prime Minister has declared in a statement.
“France, once again, has been hit in its soul … on our national day,” Manuel Valls said on Friday. The days of mourning will begin Saturday. At least 84 were killed when a truck drove into a crowd.
France is extending the period of emergency for at least another three months.
