With the rising concerns and uncertainties over President Trump’s controversial Immigration Orders and policies, the Universities in USA are stepping to mitigate the losses. In a first exercise of its kind, the Universities in USA are sending out mailers to Indian Students, promising them that there is no reason to worry and more importantly, that they are more than welcome. Not just that, the Universities are also sending out mails to their existing students, ensuring that they have no reason to worry.
Without comparison, India continues to be a hub for Universities in USA. Every year, about 80 percent of the students planning to study abroad from India look at US Universities. It is not just the call to quality education but also the first step to an American Dream. However, the recent changes in the country have created dents in the student community. While the present orders do not affect the Indian student community, it has still created chaos and confusions.
