This was the first of its kind of sting operations in India, in which 11 members of Parliament, from different political parties, were captured on camera accepting money to table questions on the floor of the Parliament, 10 belonged to the Lok Sabha (lower house) while 1 was from the Rajya Sabha (upper house).
IMPACT: All 11 members were expelled from the Parliament. The Supreme Court upheld their expulsion.
