The anti-graft wing of the Delhi government had also sought her replies to a list of 27 questions within a week.

The action came after a complaint was filed on August 12 by former DCW chief and Congress member Barkha Singh Shukla. In her complaint, Shukla alleged that AAP functionaries were appointing their associates to DCW and gave them financial benefits.

Questioning the timing of the FIR, Maliwal said that ACB knew about the commission’s event on Tuesday. “ACB knew about our event. I told ACB officials that I have answered most of their questions. As for the 27 questions, I told them that I’ll reply in a few days as I was busy with the preparation of our annual report. They were fine with it,” said Maliwal.
