After cinema halls national anthem compulsory in schools

The School Education Minister, Vijay Shah, on Thursday issued an order, as per which singing of national anthem and hoisting of national flag in government and private schools in Madhya Pradesh has been made compulsory. It is said that the order would come into effect from next academic session.

The minister, urging for strict adherence, said that the order was issued to all government and private schools and non-compliance would be reprimanded. Moreover, cancellation of recognition might also be carried out.

“The apex court has come out with an excellent order. All along, I wanted to make it compulsory in all schools,” said Education Minister, Vijay Shah.

The minister further reiterated that such move would play a significant role in instilling a sense of nationalism among the students.
