NEW DELHI: With jawans from paramilitary forces increasingly taking recourse to social media to air their grievances, Armychief General Bipin Rawat on Friday asked his soldiers to directly communicate with him through “suggestion-cum-grievance” boxes that will be set up across the formations.

Gen Rawat said “sahayaks” (orderlies) for officers and JCOs were part of a “very important and good buddy system” in the Army , but it was being examined whether the practice should be done away with in peace stations.
