After the Samajwadi party leader and cabinet minister for UP, Azam Khan called the mother-daughter gangrape in Bulandshahr a political conspiracy, the family of the victims said that they are extremely upset at the remarks of the minister, according to TV sources.
In a shocking statement, Azam Khan had called the brutal gangrape that took place in Bulandshahr a political conspiracy made by the opposition in an attempt to defame the government.
The statement comes in the backdrop of a brutal rape incident that took place on Friday night where a gang of dacoits brutally raped a woman and her daughter for half-an-hour on NH-91, when they were on their way to Shahjahanpur in UP.
The daughter’s father questioned Khan asking if he would say the same thing about his own family.
The centre had seeked an investigation report from the state government on the details of the entire incident and the necessary plan of action to capture the culprits. The family had earlier threatened to commit suicide if the dacoits are not punished.
