KOZHIKODE: CM Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday publically complimented the Narendra Modi government for its “creative response” and support towards Kerala’s development.
Speaking at a reception accorded to him by the CPM-ruled Kozhikode corporation here, the chief minister said that the responses by the prime minister and other ministers to the development needs of the state were very positive. “You all know that we have political differences, but the truth is that it has not been reflected when we raised the general issues concerning the state,” he said.
Vijayan added that as Kerala does not have much financial resources, help from the Centre was crucial for carrying forward the state’s development.
