The carnival will have 50 speakers from all over India who will enthral kids with sessions ranging from ‘Goopy Gyne’ to ‘Amar Chitra Katha’ tales, from ‘Patachitra’ (scroll paintings) to puppetry, from Shakespeare to Tagore, from clay modelling to an art walk.

Meant for children in the age group of 4 to 14, Bookaroo is a non-ticketed festival and open to all on a first come first served policy.

At the end of every session, children will have the opportunity to speak to the writers, illustrators, poets and storytellers and have books signed personally to them.

This will be Bookaroo’s 20th edition overall as earlier editions have been held in cities like Delhi, Srinagar, Pune, Goa, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.
