Over 600 lifeguards have been deployed, 58 control cells and 74 first-aid centres have been set up in the city.

Moreover, 81 motor boats and 60 ambulances were kept ready to tackle any eventualities.

Besides, 118 portable toilets had been set up by the civic body. As many as 5,173 employees and 2,382 officers worked to oversee the immersion.

Prime locations for immersion across the city are Girgaon chowpatty, Juhu beach, Powai lake, Dadar chowpatty, Madh jetty, Marve etc.

After the immersion procession ended, the civic body in a statement said, “We express our gratitude to police, traffic police, Navy, Coast Guard, NCC, Sri Sri Ravishankar’s academy, etc who played important role in it.
