Samastipur (Bihar), Jul 8 Two persons were killed while three others sustained injuries when a car rammed into a stationary truck from behind on national highway 28 in Bihar’s Samastipur district early today. The incident occurred when a car, in which they were travelling in, rammed into a truck that was stationed at a petrol pump on NH 28 near Latbasera village of the district around 5 am, Superintendent of Police Nawal Kishore Singh said. The SP said that the occupants of the car were returning to their home after attending a marriage ceremony at Muzaffarpur. The deceased have been identified as Pawan Kumar (35) and Amit Ram (27), Singh said adding that Kumar was the resident of Rajachow village in the district while Ram was the resident of Chamtha village in Begusarai district. The three injured persons have been admitted to a nearby private clinic for treatment, he said adding that police have sent the bodies for postmortem.
