American companies are excited to closely work with their Indian counterparts as the United States aims to fill the gap of development in the north east and rest of India, US Consul General Craig L Hall said.
American companies also want to be a part of the economic relationship both the countries share and to work and contribute towards the development of Guwahati as a smart city, Hall said at an interactive session.
In the session, which was organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce, experts from education, oil and gas, tourism and industry sectors had participated.
Topics related to exchange of students through scholarships and proposal to start a US business facilitation centre in India were also discussed by the experts with the Consul General of the US in Kolkata for east and north east India.
