New Delhi: Veteran filmmaker Ramesh Sippy will come out with his memoir in 2018 that will have “wonderful inside stories” about films he was involved with.
“First Cut: A Film-Maker’s Fifty-Year Odyssey” will be published by HarperCollins India.
“It is not really an autobiography. It is more in the form of a memoir of my life and times through some of the most happening decades of Hindi cinema,” says Sippy.
“While I do have wonderful inside stories about the films I have been involved in, which will hopefully be great fun to read, I also hope that I will be able to impart important lessons in the art and craft of film-making and the whole business aspect of this maddening, invigorating world that never lets go of you once it has you in its thrall,” he adds.
