Demonetisation: Even union ministers are not immune to the hardships

Earlier during the day, television channels reported that the family of the minister had problems with regard to clearing the bill. The minister came forward to clear the hospital bills with demonetised currency notes. Gowda told television channels, “When the hospital denied to accept demonetised notes in the hospital, I asked them to give the same in writing. The hospital denied the same. The final payment was made through a cheque. I am sure that lot of people are faced to inconvenience at the hospitals due to demonetisation,” he said
