IIM study: Emotional intelligence and occupational stress in BSF and CRPF

BSF jawan Tej Bahadur in a video message complained that the jawans in Jammu and Kashmir were served poor quality food and had to often go empty stomach following which the paramilitary is taking corrective action to redress the problem and improve the procedures and system.  Soon after Tadav’s video, a CRPF jawan Jeet Singh has also complained about poor service condition.

There is also a general feeling amongst the BSF and CRPF ranks they are not treated at par  with the Army despite the fact it is the paramilitary forces that are continuously engaged in counter-insurgency and anti-terrorist operations.
