According to reports, three terrorists have been killed while for the third time in recent months militants attacked an Indian army camp in Kashmir. Once again the terrorists opened fire on the army base camp in Kupwara district, North Kashmir and three of them were allegedly killed during the retaliatory fire by Indian security forces.
The three men were found in an orchard near the army base in Kupwara district near the Line of Control, the de facto border that divides the Himalayan region between India and Pakistan.
“The troops were alert and the attack was foiled,” the official said, adding that a search operation was going on and additional forces have rushed to the area. Meanwhile, the militants again opened fire at the forces who were conducting the search operation, the army official said.
