“Three infiltration bids were foiled in two separate sectors on the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir on the intervening night of October 5-6,” an army official said, reported The Huffington Post. He also said that two infiltration bids were foiled in Naugam sector and the other one was foiled in Rampur sector.
A few days ago militants attacked an army camp in Baramullah, where a BSF jawan lost his life, while the terrorists escaped.
On September 18, four terrorists swooped down on an army installation in Uri, killing 19 soldiers. India launched surgical strikes across the Line of Control and neutralised around 38 terrorists following the Uri attack.
